Jays Teario PMS Tea Tracker

Facebook Stalking is tried and tested but it's old hat. Especially when Jay has been working far too hard (but we greatly appreciate it) on a GPS tracker that will be tracking our every move and logging everytime we take a picture and where we took it. Who were were with when we took it. What direction we were facing , how fast we were going, the contents of our stomachs, last time we went to the toilet. Ok some of them aren't true but it should be able to you all a pretty detailed view of what we will be up to and where we have stopped (hopefully not broken down).

So head on over to http://teaserver.no-ip.org/pms if you want to keep tabs on us.

Track the splitmobile

Today I picked the car up from Matt and we took some team pictures, with our team shirts as well. Here's a little gallery for you:

We also set up a tracking website where you will be able to follow our journey live. We can post pictures and videos on there too and keep you in the loop on what's going on. Check it out here: http://teaserver.no-ip.org/pms

Tims gone and right stitchthat.tv us up

An O G skater from the shire has donated to the cause.  He lives down in london now so although he knows what a car looks like as there seem to be so many down there, he hasn't been inside one in a very long time as it cost 8 gigbillion pounds a year to run a car in london.

If i get my facts correct he is some percentage of http://Stitchthat.tv an outfit responsible for creating music videos, Documentaries, viral videos and anything else that your willing to pay them for. Might even try  and force them into editing together our trip footage, either that or i'll have to do it all on my phone.

Thank you Tim we salute you.

Hells no it's Greg from the double S two O, Anonymous donations

My friend and fellow snow schralper Greg has donated to our cause.  I'm not sure if he did so off his own back or if it was from SS20 as a whole but i'm going to pimp the shop either way as they help most local (oxford) skaters out all year round.

We also have a donation from one of the lovely ladies at Larkmead School, who has asked to not be named. Our first anonymous donation. Cool huh

What flavour do you want? Sucata Split flavour please

Hi all out there in internet land this is my mate Kleiner Shames.

We can't show you his face because he's a wanted man. Not by the law, it's just the ladies love him.

He does painting and drawing and all other kinds of arty stuff. We told him he could have a go at painting the car and could do anything he wanted.  Upon hearing the name "Sucata Split" he couldn't get ice cream out of his head.

So after a quick brain storm a few beers a pack of smokes and several different colours of spray paint he'd created his ice cream inspired art work.

Big thanks to Williams Jet Tenders and to Nancy

First off a massive thank you to John and Matt and everyone at Williams Performance Tenders ( http://www.williamsjettenders.com  ) for donating £80 to the cause and for being the first company to get us some stickers to go onto the car.

The car as i've stated is pretty much done apart from a worn out gear linkage, which is why i'm off to the scrappy in the rain after work. So here is yet another shot of the car this time hopefully looking a little cleaner.  If anyone knows why a Golf Mk2 starts sluggish from a cold start and the engine cuts out of you give it gas to quickly let us know. :P

I would also like to thank my good friend from work Nancy for donating to our cause. This isn't her this is her dog George(aka Boggins)

Williams Performance Tenders and Nancy - We Salute you both
now poke your friends and make them donate too.

Sunday surgery

So the car wasn't starting and it turns out the engine was flooded. Fortunately all the people I know who are more mechancally minded than me happened to be out of the house in the sun.

Unfortunately the cold weather has seemingly ruined the radiator and under advice from what is becoming our mechanic team, it needs replacing. Also unless we want to have left legs like a kangaroo the clutch needs replacing too.

So while we continue on making this car able to drive across Europe using our own hard earned pennies please think about donating on our just giving page to help us reach our target.
